1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Escalou ("Service"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Escalou is a SaaS (Software as a Service) platform for managing work schedules. The service allows individuals and businesses to create, manage and export work schedules for their teams.

3. Registration and Account

To use the Service, you must create an account providing true and complete information. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activities performed under your account.

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
  • Each CPF or CNPJ may have only one primary organization
  • You are responsible for keeping your registration data up to date

4. Trial Period

New users are entitled to a 7 (seven) consecutive-day free trial period. During the trial, some features may be limited, such as the maximum schedule length (7 days).

5. Subscription and Payment

After the trial period, to continue using the Service you must subscribe to a paid plan.

  • Billing is usage-based: R$ 5.00 (five reais) per active registered employee per month
  • The total amount of each invoice is calculated by multiplying the per-employee price by the number of active employees in the organization
  • Current prices may be adjusted with at least 30 (thirty) days' prior notice through official channels
  • Billing is performed automatically on the 1st of each month for the previous month
  • Payment is processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor

6. Default in Payment

In case of a billing failure:

  • We will make up to 3 charge attempts on alternating days
  • After the third failure, the account will be temporarily suspended
  • To reactivate the account, payment must be settled
  • Accounts suspended for more than 60 days may have their data deleted

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to access unauthorized areas of the system
  • Transmit viruses, malware or malicious code
  • Share your account with third parties
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and all of its content, including but not limited to software, texts, graphics, logos and trademarks, are the property of Lorensoft or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

9. Your Data

You retain all rights to the data you submit to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data only to the extent necessary to provide the Service.

10. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the control panel. Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of the already-paid period
  • There will be no prorated refund for unused days
  • Your data will remain available for 30 days after cancellation
  • After 30 days, your data may be permanently deleted

11. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free. Under no circumstances will we be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages.

12. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of São Paulo/SP are elected to settle any disputes arising from these Terms, with waiver of any other.
